The Guest of the Month programme was started in the year 2011. The programme is one of its kind and is aimed at providing an opportunity for the members of Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya to expand the horizon of knowledge beyond their professional expertise. The programme also proved to be a source of positive motivation to the staff of the institution as it provides a very welcome relaxation with learning taking their minds away from their daily responsibilities for a few hours. In this programme, as the name suggests, a noted personality from the society is invited to the institution once every month to interact with the Hospital staff. In this interactive session, the esteemed guest is requested to share his/her experiences, field of work and accomplishments of life which is a great source of information and inspiration for the members. At Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya, we believe that knowledge in any fraternity is never a burden but a priceless asset that helps an individual to build a broad personality and progressive way of life. The institution invites personalities who by virtue of their passion of life, professional expertise or holistic approach to life have made our society a little more beautiful and hospitable for us to live with dignity and pride.
